Charge your Solawave device fully (4 hours) before your first use, or until the LED indicator on the controller shows a steady light. If the LED indicator remains steady when you first connect the charging cable, then your device is already fully charged and you may begin using. If the light is blinking please charge until the light remains steady. 

Note: Previously printed instructions included in the product packaging indicated the light on the controller may be green. Please disregard the mention of a green light, as these instructions referred to the Wrinkle & Bacteria Clearing Light Therapy Mask.

To charge the device:

1. Disconnect the controller from the Mask.
2. Insert the USB-C cable into the controller. 
   1. NOTE: The charging port is located on the bottom of the controller, beneath the SW logo. Do not attempt to charge the controller using the USB port that connects to the Mask. Do not attempt to charge the Mask directly. Only charge the controller via the USB-C charging port.
3. Insert the USB-A side of the cable into a 5V USB power supply (wall outlet or computer). The LED indicator on the device will start to blink to indicate charging. 
4. When the device is fully charged, the LED indicator will stay on. Disconnect the controller from the charging cord.
5. Reconnect the controller to the Mask.

Charging Tips

• Only use a 5V adapter or USB port (most computers have one). 
• Do not charge overnight. Avoid fast chargers as they can damage the battery.
• The lifetime of the battery can be maximized by allowing it to fully charge and discharge during regular use. Allow the Mask to deplete before charging again. Do not charge after every session.
• Note: Always unplug the device before use, the device will not work while being charged.
