Charge your controller fully before first use. 

Important: Only use a standard 5V adapter or USB port. Avoid fast chargers as they may damage the battery. Before charging, make sure that the plug and socket are completely dry. Failure to do so may result in electric shock, short circuit, or fire.

To charge the device:

1. Disconnect the controller from the Mask.
2. Insert the USB-C cable into the controller. 
   1. NOTE: The charging port is the same port used to connect the controller to the Mask
3. Insert the USB-A side of the cable into a 5V USB power supply (wall outlet or computer). The battery level appears on the display of the controller with 4 indicator bars. Your device is fully charged when the last bar stops blinking and remains steady. Allow up to 4 hours for a complete charge.
   1. NOTE: If the 4th indicator bar remains steady (not blinking) when you first connect the charging cable, your device is already fully charged and ready to use.
4. Disconnect the controller from the charging cord.
5. Reconnect the controller to the Mask.

Charging Tips

• Only use a 5V adapter or USB port (most computers have one). Check the label on the charging block you are using to ensure the output says “DC 5V”. If your charging block says the output is “QC” or “PD”, then please note this is a quick charge or fast charger and should not be used to charge your device.
• Only use the charging cable provided with your device. The provided cable is specifically designed for your device to optimize battery life and product safety. 
• Do not charge overnight. Avoid fast chargers as they can damage the battery.
• The lifetime of the battery can be maximized by allowing it to fully charge and discharge during regular use. Allow the Mask to deplete before charging again. Do not charge after every session.
• Note: Always disconnect the device from the power source before use. The device will not work while being charged.
