Bye Acne Benefits & ContraindicationsUpdated a month ago
Benefits
Bye Acne combines red and blue LED light to treat active and future outbreaks as well as, redness, and inflammation within a few sessions.
The device uses blue LEDs (415 nm) to treat existing acne.
Blue light has been studied and shown to be effective in combatting acne-causing bacteria residing on the skin. Blue light also helps in regulating sebum, preventing overproduction and therefore, future breakouts.
The treatment also uses red LEDs (630 nm) to reduce inflammation, redness and improve overall skin tone. Red light penetrates deep into the skin layers to help stimulate collagen production without side effects like inflammation, redness, and dryness.
Note: the LED therapy lamp does not use any form of UV light and therefore will not burn the skin.

FAQs
- Is it safe to use on or near my eyes and eyelids?
No! DO NOT shine the light from the LEDs directly into your eyes or someone else's eyes. This may cause temporary loss of sight. - Can I use it to treat Rosacea?
No. We only advise using the Bye Acne to treat mild to moderate acne, no other skin conditions. - Can I use my Solawave Wand with Red Light Therapy or Blue Light Therapy at the same time as Bye Acne?
You can definitely use both the Wand and Bye Acne, but we wouldn’t recommend using them immediately after the other (your skin needs a break, too). We recommend using one in the morning and one in the evening or on alternating days. - How often can I use Bye Acne?
You can use the device every day of the week! Results can show up as early as after 2-3 uses. It is not recommended to use the device more than once per day on one spot. - When should I expect to see results?
Everyone’s skin is unique, however you may see results as early as after 2-3 uses. - Do I need to use it for 3 minutes total or do I need to use it for 3 minutes on each spot I am trying to treat?
3 minutes on each spot you are trying to treat. - Should I use it before or after I wash my face?
After. Bye Acne works most effectively on clean, dry skin, completely free of makeup and other topicals. Do not apply any acne medications or other serums or topicals prior to using Bye Acne.
