Before First UseCharge your device fully for 2 hours before your first use. Only use a 5V adapter or computer USB port (avoid fast chargers as they can damage the battery). We highly recommend users perform a light sensitivity test&#xA0;before their first use of the device.<ol><li style="font-size: 16px;">Place the device on the inner forearm.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Turn on the device to start a treatment. Press and hold the ON/OFF button to turn on the device (about 2 seconds).&#xA0;</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Move to a new spot every 3 minutes.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Wait until the treatment is done. The full treatment will take 12 minutes to complete.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">If your skin feels hot or uncomfortable during the treatment, stop immediately! You might be sensitive to light.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">The device will automatically turn off after the treatment is done. Remove the device and wait for at least 24 hours before your next treatment.</li></ol>Check your skin regularly over those 24 hours. If your skin appears red and/or itchy, the device is unsuitable for you. In case of sensitivity to the light, please contact customer support at support@mysolawave.com. General Use<ol><li style="font-size: 16px;">Cleanse the area that you want to treat and pat dry.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Apply a thin layer of Solawave Activating Serum. You can also use other serums and moisturizers, but avoid oil-based and opaque serums and creams. Reapply if the product dries prior to completing your treatment.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Make sure the device is unplugged and place it on the skin.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Turn on the device and enjoy the treatment.<ul style="font-size: initial;"><li style="font-size: 16px;">Press and hold the ON/OFF button to turn on the device (about 2 seconds). You will see the lights turn on and the device will vibrate and begin to warm up.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Do not keep the device on the same spot for longer than 3 minutes. The device will momentarily pause after every 3 minutes to indicate when it is time to move to a different area.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">The device switches off automatically after a 12-minute treatment. You may stop the treatment at any time and turn off the device by pressing and holding the ON/OFF button until it turns off.</li></ul></li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Take the device off the treatment area.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">You may clean the device using a water-based wipe or a damp clean cloth. Ensure the device is not connected to the power supply when cleaning. Do not submerge the device in water or apply water directly to the device.</li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Repeat these steps based upon the treatment protocol described in the next section.</li></ol> Tips for Usage<ul><li style="font-size: 16px;">Cheeks:&#xA0;Start on the area of the cheek closest to the lips and glide outward up the cheek. </li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Under Eyes: Start on the inner corner below the eye and gently glide outward to the outer corner of the eye. </li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Forehead: Start at the base of the forehead and glide the Wand upward across the forehead. Avoid contact with the eyelids. </li><li style="font-size: 16px;">Neck: Start on the inner sides of the neck and glide outward and up. Avoid the larynx/ throat area.</li></ul> Treatment ProtocolUse the device for a minimum of 3 days per week for a minimum of 8 weeks. After that, you can continue using the device as desired.We recommend starting out at 12 minutes per day for the first few days. As your skin acclimates, you can use it for longer and as frequently as desired for up to 30 minutes per day. Always be mindful of how your skin reacts to beauty devices, and decrease usage if redness or irritation occur.
